lets introspect on women's day

As I was going through the newspapers today , many articles written in appreciation of women around the world caught my attention.. I really admire the way women have made their name in all spheres of life  but what really struck my mind was a beautiful article written by Chetan Bhagat in yesterday’s “Dainik Bhaskar”. He very politely urged women to stop blaming and ridiculing their own gender. And I strongly go with this statement. Not every problem of women starts with men.... It's not always men who  suppress women but sometimes its women too , yes  in fact it would be no wrong if I say that more than men we women suppress our gender cruelly…

It's always a female who runs a brothel, in most of the cases we have seen or heard that most of the time it's always a woman who compel their daughter in law for dowry or abortion… see when we say that behind every successful man there is always a woman, then there is equally a saying which says behind every wrong done by a man there is also a woman somewhere. Please don't take any of my remarks as anti women. I am a myself s a woman and I am proud of my being but what I want to say is somewhere down the line we women ourselves are the enemy of our own gender… how often we women compliment each other??  Don’t we ourself make sleazy remarks for a woman wearing a short dress ??  Do we not become so judgmental  that if someone is talking to a male friend, I guess we are the one who start gossiping about her first  than men…

Just imagine if we ourself don't respect the freedom of our gender how we can expect it from the other???

We women should understand that our power lies in our unity.. I can guarantee that the day when all women will respect and value the other women , we won’t need anyone to protect us. Lets ourselves be so strong that no one even dare to touch us or defame us.. There  is a beautiful saying that , it's only  a woman who  can  love you  in  many ways. She is kind and gentle. Let's be kind and gentle not only to our sons , or daughters or husband’s , let be equally kind and gentle to our own gender. Instead of competing , lets feel proud of other’s success.

And yes one more thing that I recently noticed in a movie named “MAAI” starter ASHA BHONsle,  while watching that movie , I experienced or say observed a totally different side of a woman which actually compelled me to ponder… though not anywhere in the movie it portrayed , in fact movie is all about a girl who take care of mother when his brother left her mother alone,,,, but what really pinched me is the role of daughter- in law in all this.. See, women are women, being kind and gentle Is in our inner nature then how can a woman have a different feeling for her own mother and her mother-in law? How can our feelings change so instantly?.. And vice versa…. We care for our own daughter but not for the one who has come to our home while leaving her own family?? Why so biased?? As a woman this particular incident shocked me and of course it let me have an introspection of myself.

Well  a lot has been said by me , and  believe me in no way I am disrespecting anyone its just that I think we women should introspect ourselves before blaming anyone for disrespecting us and should be united when it comes to demand justice.

I am Happy that Nirbhaya is  getting a  Stree Shakti award posthumously today,, very well deserved award but still I would be more happy if our govt rehabilitate all those women;  who are raped and in fact alive , and are  bound to live an unhappy life…

Neway I wish all you beautiful women’s a very Happy women's day  and of course I want to thank all those men too who love women’s in their life. I am so sure your life is the loveliest one..

And yup happy Womens’ day for me too, I am inspired to be inspired, and I know my worth as a woman

With love
