trafficking of women

Hi everyone…

Tomorrow is women’s day ……I know there will be many discussions, debates on women empowerment, their incredible role in freedom struggle. many will speak about their extraordinary efforts for nation building and some on their compassion,,,,,,,,,,,,,and dats all true too…………women has proved dat they are equal to men…………..

but today I want to talk about that particular class of women who are indulged in prostitution…I want to draw your attention towards the most nefarious and malicious social vice i.e. trafficking of women for commercial sexual exploitation…………

Trafficking is a big menace for our society as well as for nation, many young girls and women’s around the world are lured ,abducted or sold into forced prostitution and involuntarily marriage, they are bartered depending on their age ,beauty and virginity and exploited under conditions that amount to slavery.

The volume of trafficking in women and children in India has risen significantly over the years. Traffickers manipulate Nepal’s poor condition to their advantage. The victims are offered jobs or lured by promises of marriage .Mumbai has the largest number of girls in prostitution according to one estimate.

There are about 20,000 Nepali women in the city’s flesh trade, they were brought by local recruiters and then sold off to brokers who delivered them to brothel owners.

Delhi, the capital of our country has a special role as a hub in trafficking for prostitution.

This is how our women are trafficked and then sold out to brothel keepers. but this is only the one phase ,now lets move on to the other phase of these young girls and women’s , and this phase is about our behavior towards them, social impact of prostitution on them.

Do u know all trafficked women or women involved in prostitution are generally unhappy a disgruntled over the society’s discriminatory attitude. these women’s are looked down by school authorities who are reluctant to allow their children to study in the school because of their mothers .even if the children are given admission , the women are always afraid of their identity playing against their children………

Law enforcing agencies i.e. the lower rung of the police force never really respects them as human beings. They generally use a abusive language with complete disregard for their human rights and insult them frequently…….but tell me, why we disregard them just because they are in dis flesh trade ,right? But have u ever thought who use these women’s? Who forced them to indulge in dis flesh trade? …………..it’s we………….yes its from us, some selfish, barbaric, persons from our society do all dis,,,,,,,,,,,,,but we never complained them,,,,,,,,,,why not to punish them too? We should start denigrating and mocking at our politicians, bureaucrats , businessman’s, spiritual leaders,,,,,,,,,,,,,afterall they are the people who mostly involved in dis trade,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but no,,,,,,,,,,how can we point out these rascals? Afterall they are VIP’S ,they have a huge back wid them,,,,,,,,,,,,Baba Nityanand, Asaram Bapu, Dera Sacha Sauda’s chief are some of the examples ……………………..

U know what our government authorities also collect substantial revenues in area where prostitution exist illegally from bribes and corruption,

Some months back u might have heard that there was full debate on this topic that should the sex trade legalized/ will it help women?

ILO was supporting the demand for recognizing prostitution as a labour sector by calling it a sex sector/

But the anti legalization lobby feels that exploitation can not be legalized because the basic question is ,can prostration of girls and women, their trafficking, their renting to someone, brothel keeping advertisement of brothels, pimping be legalized?

Trafficking of human beings mainly for sex trade is the third largest organized global crime next only to illegal trade in narcotics and crime even if it is stated that a small section of women wish to do voluntary prostitution and therefore it must be legalized no sane society can entertain such a proposal that exposes its vast young population to the most dangerous crime,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I just want to say that there is a great need of doing something for this social vice…….the voluntary organizations need to involve in a greater measure and they can ensure certain standards of care and reformative treatment that will eventually lead to the rehabilitation of women in prostitution .the role of voluntary agencies can be towards the planning and implementation of integrated programme of awareness education and socio economic upliftment for both preventive and rehabilitative purposes. In attempting to address the phenomenon a reorientation of approach is suggested so as to discourage the exploitative situations in which the women are trapped……………

No women wants to loose her respect………there are situations which force some to indulge in wrong deeds…………………..every person wants to be respected…………..lets join together and save those who are unwillingly, forcibly traped in dis trade…………….they want sympathy, guidance and a hope that they can live a respectful life too………………..

my incredible india lost somewhere

INDIA. My incredible india-A country which is the largest democracy in world
Which is known for its diversification of cultures and religions, a country where people speak more than 1000 languages and dialects and who support more than 20 political parties in the world’s biggest democracy and perhaps boldest experiment in democracy? Where secularism, inequality, integrity are the soul of constitution,. But wait…..

Is this all true? Is our India really incredible? Are we secular and equal? ……….just think over it…………..
I think there’s no need to find answers of these questions anywhere just ask from your heart and you will get a pure answer “NO”

Far from becoming mahaan(great) our nation is going to dogs ,and unless a miracle saves us,the country will break up. Have you ever thought, what is happening in our country? Attacks like 26/11, Dantewada Attack, daily news of killing of innocent people, Tensions in borders. Threatening from international terrorist organizations. And the most pernicious one, home based terror by Naxalites?

I am writing all this because I a m in anger and really depressed on how people are just being killed ,,,,,,,,,and our Govt is behaving as spectators rather than taking actions they are debating in media,,,,,,,,,,
“This is my homeland, I can’t let these miscreants get away with their sinful ideas. I will shout my protest from the roof-tops”

We are living in a nation where government is run by selfish people. for them politics is a profession not a mission, they just for some votes ruining everyone’s life, The biggest challenge to our democracy is religious fanaticism. we Indians have always been more concerned about religion, caste and still we are religious fanaticism, we judge people by their caste and religions which is not only dangerous for mankind but a stigma to our democracy…..

The Indian constitution prohibits discrimination on the grounds only of religion race, caste, sex and place of birth [4by providing equality of opportunity for all citizens, and inequality on caste, job, money should be prohibited ,,,,,,,,,

The question I am asking is Are we really following what has been written in our constitution? Is there equality of opportunity to all Indians? Are we Indians not facing discrimination on the basis of religion, race, Caste and sex?

How can someone point out foreigners for racial discrimination when in our own country we do that…….recent Australian attack were an example, I truly condemn those attacks but just think how can we point out them when we know the reality that in our own country people are being discriminated not only by general people but by our law makers, leaders i.e. our politicians too.

Instead of uniting this diversified India they are creating more tensions by religion, caste and region based politics…. And poor people are being, manipulated for their selfish desired growths. they are told that nobody cares for them, centre parties are neglecting their region, certain religious groups wants to dismantle their religious places etc,,,,, and these propaganda’s for selfish votes and growth proved very successful for these miscreants of democracy ,they targeted unemployed youth and poor by playing with their sentiments and emotions.

The constitution contains special clauses "for the advancement of any socially and educationally backward classes of citizens or for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes”. Separate constituencies allocated to Scheduled Castes and Tribes to ensure their political representation for 10 years.(These were subsequently extended for every 10 years through constitutional amendments).

Don’t u ever think that by exceeding these reservations our politicians are proliferating this inequality? Reservation on caste basis is totally unbearable and unjustified….I know that in the early years lower caste people were not treated well and they were lacking but not now, we are celebrating 62nd year of our independence, we proudly say that we are developing as a developed nation, but are we really developing ?,,,we claim that we are modern, a hi –fi society with top leaders, businessman and that’s somewhere true too….we are as compared to early times are much developed but sorry to say we are not at developed by our thinking? We are still living in that cruel, caste obsessed, society in our mind, we have accepted those modern clothes but not good moral values of modernization.
Now comes our claim to be secular…….our politicians proudly say that we are very secular but are they really one?

There were many incidents when India gone through communalist attacks ,the most disastrous one was ,Babri Demolition on 6th dec,1992, Sikh riots 1984 then Gujrat riots 2002., thousands of innocent people were slaughtered and killed, women’s were raped a, children set on fire ,,,,,,,,,,,I just ponder that how long people of this country will have to bear this? Can’t we live happily? Indian is day by day becoming a battleground of religions and caste. And instead of preventing this region and religion based genocide, Govt is just watching it as Tamasbeens(spectators).and even proliferating it by not giving punishment to these culprits.

Today, riots take place b/w Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs and Christians .caste-Hindus and Harijans, Tribals and non Tribals ,Bengalese and Assamese .in short the entire country is becoming riot prone……are these riots show our integration and secularism.?
Most of us have double standards of judgment,we are unable to see the shortcomings of our own religions but more than eager to see the fatuous in other people faiths.

When I see the stark reality, it just fill me with anger, what strike one in the eye is the impoverishment of the people, which saps their vitality and keeps them undernourished and susceptible to sickness.
India is the world’s most illiterate country. The most populus of our states are the most illiterate to accelerate on the information superhighway with nearly 200 million adults who cannot read signs.
80% of women in these states (UP,BIHAR, RAJASTHAN AND MP) cannot read or write and acc to WHO report points that 80% of Indian women suffer from anemia. Acc to world bank ,65% of India’s under five year olds are malnourished, of 23 million children born every year only 3 million grow up to be physically fit, productive and intellectually capable.
These nightmarish realities should wake up from stupor and indulge in some introspection.
What is wrong with us? Where have things gone wrong? What have to we got to do it?

We have to find answers and have to work for our India to be really developed not only in files but in reality. I know our country has all those qualities and strength which makes India incredible, but we have to overcome these nightmarish realities…………..

Just remember that We can remove, communalism and can really make our nation secular and equal if Once we see the villain in ourselves, I am sure we will take the first step towards securing our future,,,,,,

We cannot wish communalism away, we cannot pretend communal differences are seen only during riots and don’t exist otherwise, they always have and they will in the future. so, we must all, Hindus, Muslims and Christians ,Sikh ,somehow overcome over stereotyped notions of communities other than our own.. We must respect everyone’s religion and should live happily and we can do this only when we work for this
I think we must avoid the tendency to build community based housing societies, schools and clubs, use of media for propagating religion must stop.

We should unequivocally embrace the idea of secularism as defined in our constitution and kick out any govt that is even remotely communal.

For me “India is my caste, my region, religion and identity” and I wish every Indian should have the same ,,,,,,,we our Indians first, ,,,,,,,plz do remember…its nation which makes our identity not our region and religion, nationalism is above than communalism ………..in the end I will just wanted to say that
“ Good life is the only religion ,happiness is the only good, the place to be happy is here; the time to be happy is now, the way to be happy is to help others.”

. “So many gods,so many creeds.
So many paths that wind and wind
When just the art of being kind
is all that the sad world needs”

Kargil war-whose fault?

Kargil war- A war which was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil district of Kashmir and elsewhere along the Line of Control (LOC).

History can be cruel companion for events like the Kargil conflict, no matter how momentous. restricted to argued ,remote inhospitable corner of India, it was little surprise that majority of Indians had never heard of Kargil or Drass or tiger hill and Tololing till the media brought it to their homes, when media aired news of the kargil,it was then that everyone realized that Pakistan has attacked us and our tiger hill is occupied with them………… I am writing all this as yesterday I studied “ kargil-the inside story” by Harinder Baweja(journalist)…..and by reading this I remembered all those days of 1999 when kargil war was going on,
I still remember I was in 5th std merely7 years old… when I knew that there is some war going on…hardly I know the meaning of war then, for me it was like a play or game which I was seeing in TV, ,my family all the time kept discussing about war, soldiers and scolding Pakistan…..it was in Kendriya Vidyalaya school(my school) when I came to know from my friends that war is something where people die, I have seen my friends ,my seniors crying and teachers consoling them as in KV mostly army personnel kids study……..

I realized war’s terrible results when our school took us to army hospital in kasauli to meet some of the injured soldiers of kargil who were there for medical treatment, first time I saw blood profusely bleeding from a soldier’s knee…….,there were many without an arm, leg, eye etc………..as a child I just cried and still whenever I remember that incident ,tears come across my eyes……..back at home I told my mother that today I visited army hospital where I saw people without legs and arms, I asked her,” why they don’t have legs and arms,? who did this? ,,,,,,,,,mumma very nicely explained me that they sacrificed their legs, arms, eyes to keep our country safe we are staying happily because they are there fighting for us ,,,,,,,,at that time I was not in a position to understand all this hate and war between two countries……..but now when I think over that war or read books on kargil,,,,,,,I sheiver and I fill with anger that how could they dare to harm us or attack us? I don’t know why but I have this dream that once in my lifetime I want to see these bloody terrorist and at any cost want to shoot them, kill them…

my anger an frustration is not only limited to these barbaric rascals but for our government too….It was stated by one of soldiers that it was 1 Naga who firstly move to Drass almost overnight without time to get used to the rarefield atmosphere and above all, not equipped for high altitude warfare they had no snow shoes, no special clothing required for heights above 12,000 feet .nor did they have local guides. all they were told was that you have to capture the objective by first light, even the maps they were given were photocopies.

There is more to this tragic tale of confusion and neglect, they did not have a single medium machine gun and were issued INSAS rifles, a weapon they were totally unfamiliar with. For counter insurgencies operations they used AK-47.the officers and men of 1 Naga had never trained with these rifles. they didn’t even know its range.
In that confusion such minor matters were brushed aside. but now I just think that how many lives could have been saved? And how many were lost? History will never be able to judge. in the eventual afterglow of victory those responsible for such crass negligence were not even touched .instead they probably were promoted.

On may 29 the Indian air force had joined the battle on may 26and their MIGS had been pounding the heights .but even that had not made too much of difference to the enemy as they were having fantastic fortifications.

what was most surprising that the prime minister had made his famous trip to Lahore only three months earlier. Which only added to the complacency troops along the LOC in Kashmir too had been thinned out. war was certainly not in the minds of army commanders. internal security duties and counter insurgency operations were .not of many possible scenarios chalked out in war games and depicted a situation where Pakistan would switch from sending trained militants to sending army regulars, heavily armed, fortified, well shocked and that too across the height of kargil….in a meticulously planned operation that would remain undetected for weeks…….its really shocking and bizarre that how cheap Pakistan reacted to our proposal of friendship.

What was even more surprising that Indian Govt and top army officials didn’t recognize this as a war ,acc to them it was just a localized affair till 26th may. it was later on may 29 that government and politicians recognized the seriousness of war and then the war got its name- OPERATION VIJAY. But what frustrates me is what about those grueling days between may4 and may 26 when our army men were being slaughtered.

Its really a shame to our intelligence ,RAW and MI(military intelligence) that they didn’t even provided the slightest warning of possible intrusions….well nothing can bring back those brave soldiers who because of government, MI,RAW and top army officials negligence suffered and lead to death,,,,,.
In fact the operational failures which cost so army lives were not even within the ambit of the kargil review committee .with the Pakistan army continuing to infiltrate across the border and the loss of additional soldiers to such attacks ,the issue of operational failures acquire added urgency………
I just want that the sacrifices of so many brave soldiers should not be in vain………..those who are responsible for these failures should get punished…….

My utmost tribute to all those brave hearts who fought for our nation and sacrificed their today for our tomorrow,,,

A 10 year child very truly wrote to our soldiers that , “caring not for your life at the battlefield ,you uphold the nation’s honor every hour .never can we I, as nation ,pay you back for what you have done for us. All we can say is thanks.”
I too wish I also die fighting for my nation. And uphold my nation’s dignity………
Very true and touching these lines are……..really we can never ever pay back those sacrifices by our brave soldiers .A hearty tribute to them.

Well in the end I want to conclude by this inspirational and revengeful dialogue of movie INDIAN that:-

Dudh maangoge to kheer denge ,
Kashmir maangoge to cheer denge”

And I really mean it infact we all Indians mean it.

“Beshak apni jaan bhi khoni pade par kisi ko bhi apne desh ko hathiyane nahi denge”
