CHENNAI - YOU INSPIRED US

The city of Chennai and many parts of Tamil Nadu have received some record breaking rain since a couple of weeks which resulted in flood situation in Chennai, thousands of people got strucked in their homes /airports, railiway stations but while our politicians were raging their voice over nonsense topics like intolerance in parliament, chennaites were showing their tolerance by coming together in the hour of need.

I am so proud when I wrote this that while there is so much hype over hindu muslim intolerance towards each other in media, there was a student there in chennai named Younus who rescued a Hindu woman, who was suffering from labour pain at the time, from a dangerously stranded place and moved her to a safer place. He set an excellent example of humanity when he took part in rescue operations and saved many stranded people.

While the heavy rains in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu created huge devastation, it also brought people of different caste, creed and religion together. It feels so great to read about thousands of such heroes who came together in this hour of need. I didn’t saw any chennaite blaming any political party at this moment coz they are busy in helping each other. This is what Chennai taught us…They took actively part in rescuing themselves,, they didn’t waited for help but took part in helping other.

Chennai floods showed that there is Tolerance among Indians and we are united……..no matter how much our political parties try to divide us for their own political interests but we Indians are together. It’s a slap on all those who tried to divide us in the name of intolerance. Pics of Art of living workers, RSS activists, Muslims cooking foods in temples and Hindus being sheltered in Mosque are some examples that shows that humanity is above any religion caste or creed and we Indians live proudly under it.

I salute these people who are helping in making Chennai to revive its old charm. I am deeply touched by Sex workers from Maharashtra’s who dipped into their savings and survived on just one meal a day to collect Rs 1 lakh, that was donated by them today towards relief work in rain-ravaged Chennai.

I am equally happy to read that financial institutions, banks waived penalty on late EMI payments.Ministry of external affairs too announced if someone’s passport is lost or damaged in floods, PSK chennai will issue u fresh passport free of charge.

All these efforts show that we all are together and no one can ever break us in the name of our religion and caste.
I also salute Indian Defense forces who always act as god sent angels in such disastrous situations. Bravo and kudos to them.

Stay Strong Chennai. You will be back to normal soon. Hats off to you and your fighting spirit. You have united Indians and also sent a strong message that we are together and Life is not just about earning money, its about living together and helping each other.

God bless all.

Scrap the current reservation policy and then claim yourself to be secular

As I woke up today, the first thing that I saw on TV was the agitation in Gujarat over Patel’s demand for reservation. The outrage of people went on to streets and they destroyed the government property everywhere. I have always expected such an outrage by the general category. I feel  fear in saying that what these patels are doing in Gujarat can turn into a nationwide agitation if current reservation policies didn’t changed.

I found it ironical that even after 69 years of independence , This nation which claims itself to be secular, gives reservations on the basis of someone’s caste , creed and religion. I understand the fact that earlier during post independence, there was a huge gap between people of different castes and it was mandatory then to bridge this gap and make everyone equal but unfortunately during all these years this whole reservation policy became the most fav vote gimmick for our politicians and they used it for their political interests.

Our politicians used these poor people in the name of reservations for the vote bank.  This is just because of this politics that now almost every caste and tribe demands reservation for them and their leader becomes the face of that particular tribe which comes in poltics and then all this process of using people's emotions comes and take the shape of a new caste based party.  Unfortunately the good idea behind starting these reservations once is lost now, it was meant to make people equal but now this reservation is actually dividing people. Almost everyday someone is coming up demanding separate reservations for their community which is dangerous for any democratic nation.

I have always believed in equality and I admire the reservation system then in 1960’s when it helped poor people to come up and live their life with dignity but now its working anti democratic which  is destructive for this nation hence I believe it’s high time that Reservations should be banned in this nation and if possible it should be given only  on the basis of someone’s economical condition not on their caste, religion or creed.Only then this continuous demand for reservations will come to end.

I know it’s difficult for any govt to take this move because as I said it earlier that its almost every party ‘vote bank card but believe me for national interest one has to take such strong decisions and I expect such move by present Modi Government.

What Patels are doing in gujrat is a very expected move. I always had this in mind that there will come a time when even general category people will demand reservation and see the time comes. It can take a very destructive mode if didn’t tackled properly hence  I request each political party to reexamine the current reservation policy and stop this reservation venom spreading in the whole country.

Equality brings unity so please stop dividing people in the name of reservations now. India doesn’t need any special reservation for any community now.

Time to discard all the rotten policies and bring the change.

"Instead of banning the Documentry, Ban movies which portrays women as a thing to be used"

As I was watching the  BBC documentary , anger, frustration , retaliation n so many more emotions were coming out fiercely…..How the hell , men in our society be so so narrow minded……..at this era of modernization and education,,,listening to people, that too advocates on women was heart wrenching…I Can understand the rotten mentality of Mukesh, The victim who executed this rape  but what outraged me is the statement of M.L. Sharma, the defense lawyer for the rapists, who said “"A girl is just like a flower. It gives a good looking, very softness... performance, pleasant . On the other hand a man is just like a thorn. Strong, tough enough. That flower always needs protection. If you put that flower in a gutter it is spoilt. If you put it in the temple, it is worshiped,"

Is he serious?  stupid fellow, a lawyer by profession, how the hell can such person be a lawyer, do u think he can ever bring justice to anyone??

He also says at one point in the documentary, "India has the best culture. No place for a woman in our culture.
It’s outrageous and I don’t know how this bloody fellow must be treating his wife, sister, daughter & mother in home…….

I believe BBC Documentary is a mirror to our society and I strongly feel it should not be banned by the government,,,,, there are people in our nation who still lives with this mentality and hence instead of escaping we should accept it courageously & work for changing this mindset……there is nothing about banning it……I would urge to everyone watch it……you need to know about it is -- you need to see it. The content does not incite. It serves as a mirror as well as a looking glass. To see in great detail what happened on the night of December 16, 2012.

Infact I would say our government officials too should see it,  at least they will get an idea where to start work from,,,,,its all about mentality  …….instead of banning this real documentary , we should ban all such movies where women are shown like puppets and an object  to be used.

We need to make understand our people that a girl is as much human as these men are, women are not a thing to be used or to be portrayed as a ornament..women is an individual who deserves everything and can do anything,,,,,parents should start teaching their kids right from birth that girls and boys are two different human beings but possesses the same quality , be it their powers or their rights. Both play an important role in life and hence both should always care and respect each other.

I must say each one of you should see it to understand what it means for you as an individual and for the country as a collective. I implore you to see it and decide for yourself how you feel about it.

May god give us wisdom to understand and strength to fight for our rights.
